Just a bit more than 4 hours from Minneapolis, 5 from Milwaukee or 7 from Chicago, The Whitecap Mountains are convenient. Shortcuts to Whitecap Mountains:

1.) East-bound on U.S. Highway 2, turn right on Wisconsin Highway 122 at Saxon. As you drive south you'll curve around the back side of the mountain. Cross the highway to your left when you reach Iron County Road E. Follow E to our driveway on your left.

2.) Northeast-bound on Wisconsin Highway 77, turn left on Wisconsin Highway 122 at the town of Upson. Go north about a mile and a half and then take a right on Iron County Highway E. Follow E to our driveway on your left.

3.) If you're North-bound on U.S. Highway 51, take a left at the four-way stop sigh in downtown Hurley. You'll be on World Famous Silver Street and also be West-bound on Wisconsin Highway 77. Follow Highway 77 through the town of Iron Belt and take a right on Iron County Highway E. Follow E to our driveway on your right just after the hairpin turn at Weber Lake County Park.

4.) Shortcut From the Twin Cities of Minneapolis & St. Paul and metro Minnesota, drive north on I-35. Exit at Minnesota Highway 70, going east. That becomes Wisconsin Highway 70 as you continue east to to Spooner where you turn north on Highway 63. As you're passing through Hayward, turn east on Wisconsin Highway 77. When you reach the little town of Clam Lake, take a left (then a quick right in about a block) on County Highway GG to Mellen. When you're in downtown Mellen, take a right to go down the hill. Then turn left to continue traveling eastward on Wisconsin Highway 77. When you reach Upson, follow shortcut #2 above.
